About Victory K9

Victory K-9 Training has been in business since 1990, training dogs for Law Enforcement, Families and Estates. The runs are indoor/outdoor, heated, air conditioned and located on a 3 acre property in a beautiful country setting. The business is owned by Jennifer Pickett and considered a minority owned business. Master Trainers are both Jennifer and her husband Steve Pickett. Working for them are carefully selected civilian and law enforcement personel who are dedicated to the high standards Victory K-9 insists upon.

Steve has trained dogs for police and protection since 1994 and is a former U.S. Army Ranger who has completed training at elite levels. He has attended graduate school in the medical field and has intelligence and skill for training difficult canines and turning handler teams into top producers. This is why he is a sought after trainer and has been asked to train for other police canine trainers. Steve also enjoys search and rescue work and is available for hire in that area.

Jennifer has trained and competed with dogs since 1988. She is one of few women trainers in law enforcement canines with an exceptional reputation. Her powerful ability to train the tough working dog is exceeded only by her knowledge of canine behavior, problem solving, and dedication to provide excellent canines. She has also used Therapy Dogs in nursing homes and helps with rescue.

Victory K-9 Training is proud of its reputation as a credible and dependable training facility for work or for pets. We train high calibur working canines at fair and reasonable prices. We offer service after the sale, and our commitment to you doesn’t end after the team finishes school. We offer humane training methods and are always careful to consider training from the dog’s point of view.

The goal is to positively encourage and motivate dogs to do the work you are training for, whether it be police or pet. Mutual trust and respect is of utmost importance in the training relationship, without it there is no real meaning to companion.
